“We spent 18 months organising our wedding and by far the highlights turned out to be our wedding dance.
Without wanting to face the trauma of a slow and tedious traditional first dance we turned to Dave from The Street Dance Company after attending his drop-in classes. From day one we were impressed with his creativity and ability to offer ideas without being pushy.
Dave put together our 'wedding mix', held sessions in his home studio and in a dance studio at dates and times to suit our bridal party’s busy schedules and provided photos and videos to aid progress. He completely considered the groups limitations in terms of dance ability, types of clothing they would be wearing and available space at the venue. Our dance involved bride, groom, best men and bridesmaids and the whole experience was a fantastic bonding opportunity. We had more fun and laughs than we ever thought possible.
Dave and Emma came to our wedding reception and even arrived early for a secret run-through. The dance went down an absolute storm with guests and 3 weeks later we're still receiving compliments and comments daily. What struck us most is Dave's passion for dance and his ability to share that passion. We never felt like Dave was telling us how to dance, more like he was helping our own ideas and styles develop.
After a very reasonable amount of time and money we had perfected a routine which made our wedding something a little different and more importantly, the most memorable day of our lives. If anyone else wants to do something similar, we really recommend giving Dave a call, you won't regret it”

"After going to a few traditional dance classes and finding the waltz and foxtrot far from our cup of tea,
we decided something fun and modern would be more in keeping with us as a couple and the relaxed wedding that
we were hoping for.
After looking online we found Dave from 'The Street Dance Company' who replied to our
enquiry straight away. Lee & I were made to feel at ease immediately and Dave built the routine specifically
to fit our ability...or lack of it!! We had such a laugh working on the dances with Dave during the 9 hours we
practiced, the performance on our big day went without a hitch and Dave's idea of having some of his crew to
support us was the icing on the cake.
No one knew we were going to do this and so it was another form of entertainment for all of the guests,
which went down so well. Lee & I have never smiled so much and loved the attention...and I even managed to
do the whole dance without damaging my dress!
